King's Lynn Wine Appreciation Society

For Lovers of Fine Wine!

The Society meets bi-monthly, starting January, on the third Friday of the month at 19:30. The new venue is The Ferry Lane Social Club, off King Street,  King's Lynn.  Six to eight wines are presented at the meetings, usually in a themed fashion. Their production and characteristics are discussed. There is often the possibility of ordering the wines presented at a discount.

There are 6 meetings a year. 4 tutored tastings usually with an external professional or wholesaler, an Annual Dinner or Summer Party with wines selected by the committee, and the Annual General Meeting in March, followed by another tasting, either in-house or with an external provider.

We are a friendly group who love and appreciate wines, and we welcome new members who would like to share this experience, tasting wines and gaining more knowledge with us.
